OACS Honors Neil Unwin

While helping report and resolve crime is serious business, Crime Stoppers programs across the province still take the time to celebrate the holiday season.

This year’s Christmas luncheon, held Dec. 4 in Toronto, was well attended and gave coordinators, Board members and OACS representatives a chance to gather before the end of the year.

It was a full house at the 2017 Christmas Luncheon in Etobicoke. Programs from throughout Ontario were represented, and enjoyed a meal and fellowship.

It was aslo an opportunity to recognize long-serving member Neil Unwin. Unwin, whose home program is Haldimand-Norfolk Crime Stoppers, has not only served at the local level as a Chairman of the Board, but served up to the highest level of OACS as Executive Member and Chair.

The award was presented following the luncheon by current OACS president Don Hawkins.
